Hello! My name is Seunghyo Jeong from Sejong Global High School in Korea. It's a big honor to connect with Russia's buddies in this program.
My hometown is Sejong, which is located next to Daejeon. The name 'Sejong' is from King Sejong who invented Hunminjeongeum, Korea. Also, Sejong is administrative city of Korea.
I became interested in Russia after seeing Basil's Cathedral in Mascow. So I searched Russia's famous attractions such as Tretyakov Gallery, Bolshoi Theater and found that Russia is a really beautiful country. I also discovered that there are many popular cathedrals in Russia. I'm curious about why there are so many cathedrals in Russia.

What do Russians eat?
Koreans’ staple food is rice and kimchi.
However, in Russia, their staple food is bread and salt.
Also, there are many high-calorie and high-sugar food in Russia.
This is because there are many foods with increased calories, such as meat and root vegetables, to beat the cold.
This is a traditional Russian soup Borsch, flavored with red beats.
It usually appears as an appetizer at dinner.
But, interestingly, it is a type of Ukrainian soup.
So, I am curious about how Ukraine’s soup became popular and common in Russia.
