Hello! My name is chaejeong an Sejong Global High School student from Korea. It’s a big honor to connect with Maldives’s buddy in this program.

My hometown is Daejeon, which is located in the center of South Korea. Daejeon has famous bakery whose name is SungSimDang. Daejeon is considered as one of the most popular science and research cities in the world.

I have a strong interest in the lives of various people. Especially, like the Maldives, living in a different natural environment from ours. This country is known for its beautiful landscape that should be protected. I'm curious about how Maldives accept the threat posed by rising sea levels and how Global Warming changed their lives.

Hi everyone! I’m chaejeong Um!

Today, I’m going to talk about natural scenery of the Maldives.

First scenery I want to introduce is Maldives Victory.

Mabunado is one of the most popular snorkeling places in the Maldives, where you can see a variety of marine life. There are so many small fish, as well as many large marine creatures as camel sharks, white sharks that you can enjoy the beauty of living water while taking a walk under the sea at the depth of about 16m.

Next, I want to introduce Banana Reef.

Banana Reef is one of the most popular diving points, and seaweed corals located between 5m and 30m deep are making fantastic landscape with giant rocks.

During diving, we can look around Pennez Groups, a green shipwreck

Then, I want to introduce Aliwal Shoal.

Aliwal Shoal is diving point around Durban which is very famous to many divers.

We can see various marine life including camel shark.

At the depth of about 30m, you can easily notice the ecosystem structure of here because here are different various undersea caves and slots, drop-off.

Finally, I want to introduce Kinbooru.

Kinbooru is one of the orchid Points located at southeastern sea.

From what can be seen through a large window while diving, to the depths of the calm, you can see a variety of orchids and fish species.

You can also see many large-scale creatures here, especially around March and April every year.

Thank you for visiting my post!
