Hi! My name is Deborah, and I'm a student at Sejong Global High School in Korea. Making a connection with an American friend through this program is an amazing honor.

My hometown Gongju, is well-known for its rich historical legacy. Specifically, a royal tomb has been designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

I’m interested in America’s literary traditions. Especially, the author of

<The Great Gatsby> F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I’m ready to learn more about the literary heritage of America and 1920’s complex political, historical, and social concerns that the nation faces, as portrayed in <The Great Gatsby>.
