2-4 Department of Sustainable Development, Regional Researcher of New Zealand

 

Hello! We’re Daeun, Eunji, Goun, Seah of Sejong Global High School from Korea. Our team’s name is SDTs, which stands for Sustainable Development Team. It’s a big honor to connect with New Zealand’s buddy in this program. 

Daeun’s hometown is Seosan, a city located in the west coast of South Korea. Seosan is famous for historical spaces, Haemi Sanctuarium Internationale, crystal-clear waters, and ginger. The city is a peaceful place with a rich culture and history.

During our free time, we like to go to karaoke, bake breads, read, or walk around in Sejong chatting. A few of our interests are mathematics, economics, art, and aeronautics.

We are all interested in sustainability of ASEAN, especially of developed countries such as New Zealand. New Zealand is known for getting over 80% of its energy from renewable source. It’d be so meaningful to compare our countries’ environmental policies and come up with some ideas for more sustainable society.

We would also like to know more about New Zealand’s education system and its integration policy of immigrants from various countries and the natives. We’re so curious about what’s different between our school lives and looking forward to know more about you. Nice to meet you!
