Hey there!
Let me introduce you to one of my favorite places in Korea: Jeju Island! It’s a volcanic island with breathtaking scenery, delicious food, and so much to explore. But if you really want a special experience, you have to visit Udo, a small island just off Jeju’s coast.
Udo is like Jeju in miniature but with its own unique charm. The name “Udo” means “Cow Island” because its shape looks like a cow lying down. Cool, right? The island is famous for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and black volcanic rocks—it’s basically paradise for nature lovers. You can rent a bike or a scooter and explore the whole island in just a few hours!
Don’t miss the peanut ice cream—it’s a local specialty, and trust me, it’s so good. Also, keep an eye out for the haenyeo, Jeju’s famous female divers, who still practice traditional free-diving techniques to catch seafood. It’s amazing to watch!
So, if you’re planning a trip to Korea, make sure Jeju and Udo are on your list. You’ll fall in love with their natural beauty and laid-back vibe.
Have you heard of Jeju or Udo before? Let me know—I’d love to hear your thoughts!
