Alice, Brazil

Hello! I'm Alice, Brazil's ambassador for the GG FRIENDS project. As a big fan of Korean dramas, my mom suggested the school where she works to hold a cultural fair, and they chose South Korea. I helped do some research and the flag, so I thought it would be cool to share it here. I'll make a guide!

Feel Free to contact me anytime. My number is: +55 21 97618-1107.

First stop

This is a small mural that shows the introduction to the room, so that people know what they will be reading there. Since my mother is a Physical Education teacher, she did a workshop with some traditional Korean games as well.

Second stop

At the second stop, you can read a little about the most famous South Korean foods. (The captions that are not visible are just the origins and recipes of the foods).

Third stop

Basically, an overview of the country's current culture, including music (perhaps the most famous point), technology, literature, classic games and culture in general.

Fourth stop

Sports! Not limited to being one of the greatest technological powers, we made a point of stating that South Korea is also responsible for great athletes around the world of sports. It was in the same country that Brazil also won the 2002 World Cup. (I wasn't even born then, but I feel so happy about that!!)

Fifth stop

The song Baby Shark was a worldwide hit, but here in Brazil, it seems to have been 20x bigger than we thought. For an entire year, we listened to Baby Shark all the time, everywhere, on everything. Everything had an image of Pink Fong. Since the target audience is children, many of them must think it is an American company. How wrong!

It is important to highlight the impact that “Parasite” (2020) had on film culture around the world. We made a point of showing children and guardians that South Korea’s power is not limited to music and its extremely important and popular productions, but also extends to cinema.

As the penultimate stop, the children were taken back in time to a history lesson where Namsan Tower was the main focus. It is a great tourist spot and a good place to take young lovers and children.

As the last part, and for the children's entertainment, the long-awaited games area was proposed, where Brazilian children had fun with classic games, including the history of traditional games and fun with family and friends.

With that, I'll end this post for today. Thank you very much to those who read this far. Again, feel free to ask questions in the comments or even contact me on Whatsapp. See you soon ‼️
