Hi. My name is Hong Yuna. I am studying at Gyungin University of Education to become an elementary school teacher in Korea. I went to a school in Incheon last week as an educational trainee, and I could learn so many things. The children are so cute, and I thought it was really meaningful to have a class in front of them. I will study hard so that I can have a lot of fun with them like this in the future.
The countries I am interested in are Ireland, Japan, Kiribati, Monaco.
Hi, my name is Hong Yoon-ah, a third grader at Kyungin University of Education. Today, I will introduce you to Gumi-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, where I live.
Gumi City is a little lower in terms of South Korean territory. It is a typical basin surrounded by small mountains such as Geumosan Mountain and Cheonsan Mountain. However, most of the terrain is flat, and it is said to have been a rich neighborhood for a long time because the Nakdonggang River flows in the middle.
Gumi City is hot in the summer and relatively warm in the winter, as it is close to Daegu Metropolitan City, which is famous for being hot. Tropical nights are not as severe as Daegu, but there are many days when the maximum temperature is higher than Daegu, so if you come from a hot area, you will be fine in the summer of Gumi. Also, it rarely snows and it rains properly, so if you like sunny weather, I recommend Gumi!
Currently, Gumi City is the best industrial city in Korea. It developed as an industrial city in 1960 due to Park Chung-hee's policy, and because a highway was opened to the north of the mountain, many nearby cities are moving to commute from Gumi City. Of course, the world is also coming to study and work in Gumi City.
Would you like to visit Gumi City, where mountains and rivers are green and jobs are overflowing?
