I've been living in Cheongju ever since I was very young.
Cheongju is located in the middle of the map of the Republic of Korea.
Cheongju is the most famous for Jikji Simcheyojeol.
Jikji Simcheyojeol is the oldest metal type capital in the world and was found in a temple called Heungdeoksa Temple in Cheongju. Also, there is an old fortress called Sangdangsanseong Fortress, so there are many historical attractions.
There is an airport nearby and the ktx station, the fastest train in Korea, so the advantage is that you can go anywhere conveniently.
Cheongju is located in the central inland area, so the meat culture has developed.
