I am Hyeri from Gyeongin National University of Education in South Korea.
In 2022, visiting the Grand Canyon in Arizona, I was overwhelmed by nature’s grandeur and the canyon’s vastness, which embodies nearly 2 billion years of Earth’s history. The sight made me realize how fleeting human history is in comparison. Yet, I felt that, like the canyon itself, our legacy might someday merge with nature, gaining new significance over time. This experience has left the Grand Canyon with a profound place in my heart.
