Mexican Jamboree participants visited tourist attractions such as Jaein Falls at the Korean Peninsula Unification Future Center.

During the stay of 326 Mexican youths and leaders who participated in the 25th World Scout Jamboree held in 2023, Ryeoncheon County introduced UNESCO city Yeoncheon with its natural environment and helped with various experiential activities.

On this day, the Mexican Jambo Line received an introduction at the Korean Peninsula Unification Future Center about Mexico's involvement in supporting Korea with goods and medical supplies during the 6.25 War (Korean War).

Carlos Peñafiel Soto, the Mexican Ambassador to Korea, who visited Ryeoncheon to encourage the Jambo Line, said, "I am grateful to Mayor Kim Deok-hyun and others for warmly welcoming the 326 Mexican members."

Mayor Kim Deok-hyun said, "I welcome the Mexican Jambo Line youths and leaders visiting Ryeoncheon County and will generously support them to return in good health," adding, "I hope that this visit by the Mexican Jambo Line will continue to provide opportunities for mutual development between Mexico and Korea."
