Hiii! Im Alice, a high school student at a school named Maria Raythe on Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. When i went to Korea, i didnt knew i would be obsessed like this with korean culture lol…. My dream is to come back and make loads of friends!!! <3
As you can notice on the photo, im pretty small lol (5′ 1″ or 158 cm) The place im standing is a very famous place called Palácio do Catete. It is a historic building located in the city i live, being an example of Brazilian neoclassical architecture from the end of the 19th century. The palace was the scene of several important episodes in the history of Brazil, such as the suicide of Getúlio Vargas (an ex president), and currently houses the Museum of the Republic.
Hi Alice! I’m Chorim Kim from South Korea. It is interesting and exciting to know the city of Brazil that I didn’t know:D And I’m curious about your local. Are the neoclassical buildings still remain in your city a lot?
ReplyDeleteHi!! There are a lot of neoclassical buildings that remained from the portuguese colonization and other historical events. If you wanna know more about them, i can make a post on my profile talking about the most interesting ones! By the way, it surprised me that you didnt knew about Rio, since its the most famous city in Brazil. If you ever feel of visiting here, my house is open for you!!
DeleteI’ve heard about Rio but didn’t know the actual location in Brazil😅 Thanks for your reply, Alice!! And so sorry for too much late reply🥲
