Hello, everyone! I’m Chorim Kim, a student of Sejong Global High School. In this post, I’d like to talk about the study system of Korean and Taiwanese school’s studying circumstances.
1. Agora
group studying place The name of this place ‘Agora’ is originated from the Ancient Greek ‘Agora’ where people can study and discuss together through communication. Most of the students usually study in their class, but some students head to Agora to do some group projects or study. This place helps to make good atmosphere for the students in class. Also, this place is very useful for the students who need to discuss about their work with other students. Since this place is shared place, we should be quiet for the other students and make small voice during talking.
2. Stair of Wisdom
‘Stair of Wisdom’ is the place where school’s academic event being held. For example, recently, our school had the Book Forum and some students made presentations about the book and their idea. Also, when National Taichung Wen-hua Senior high school students from Taiwan visit my school, many students play piano and make some mini concerts in this place. I can say ‘Stair of Wisdom’ is the place of rendezvous for students. This is the picture of ‘Stair of Wisdom’. It is different from the current state, now we have a grand piano and some students play piano during break time.
Now I’d like to give some questions.
Does Taiwan school has the place to study together in school?
Also, I’d like to know how long do Taiwan high school students study in school (Exactly until what time).
If you know the answer, please give me some replies.
Thanks for reading :D

Hello, my name is Chorim Kim from Sejong Global High school. Recently, I‘ve got interested in Taiwan through some movies and issues, and I’d like to give you some questions about Taiwan. If you know the answers, please leave a comment! ☺️
Chinese has 捲舌音, one of the ways to pronounce. I’m curious about why there’s no 捲舌音 in Taiwanese. Also, I’d like to know more difference between Chinese and Taiwanese.
2. Do the teenagers in Taiwan give attention to political issues? (ex. election, conflict with China)
3. I found that the most of Taiwanese believes Taoism, Buddhism, Confucianism. I’m curious about how long those religion have taken root in Taiwan.
And do many Taiwan teenagers believe them like the seniors do?

Hello! I’m Chorim Kim, a student of Sejong Global high school from South Korea.
In this post, I wanna talk about the mental&health care system of Korean high school.
1. Wee class - mental care&counseling room for students
> In my school, there’s a room called ‘Wee-Class’. This room is for the students who are tired because of their school work or concerns. The teacher in this room helps student by counseling and listening to the students’ concerns. The students of Korea have many concerns about their future job, university, school work and relationship. So, the teacher give them some solutions and encourages them to cheer them up.
2. Sports class - physical health
>After class, some students take a sport class such as badminton, Kin-ball. Also, any students can go to school gym at the break time, the free time before lunch. I also play badminton before lunch, and this activity helps me to relieve stress.
Those are two health care systems for student in my school. And I wonder is there a Wee class in your school(Taiwan). And what kind of sports class does your school have? Please tell me if you know have information about my questions!
Thanks😀

Hello! I’m Chorim Kim, a Sejong Global High School student from
Korea. I’m honored to participate this program and work with
Taiwan’s buddies.
My hometown is Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
Seoul is the hub of economics, culture, entertainment, and business.
Seoul has been one of the most important city in Korea history, and it embraces big historical value of Korea. Seoul it’s worthy to visit, so if you ever come to Korea, I’d like you to visit Seoul and enjoy lots of memorable activities.
I’m interested in social welfare and this is the reason I got interest about Taiwan. Taiwan and Korea are the countries of Asia, and I think both countries have similar growing pains of development. I’m curious about the way Taiwan solves the problem such as population,
working people, seniors, and etc. Also, I’d like to share the various perspectives about social problems, and make connection between Korea’s and Taiwan’s policies of social welfare to think about how to apply them to Korea.
Hiiiiiii chi rim Kim the natural disasters in Taiwan are really sad but is interesting
